Control buttons disappeared

As of this post, between approximately eight hours ago and now, the extension control buttons have disappeared. Did a customary restart of the browser (as it leaks memory like a sieve and given an excuse Win 11 will happily swap itself to death). Upon restart immediately noticed resuming live streams no longer have any of the app control buttons. In particular the button to control which side chat docks against. This is using with Chromium: 140.0.7339.80. I don't believe it's a browser issue as no updates occurred between launches. I suspect Youtube is effing with things again. This is the only extension I've found that does something about Youtube's decision to place chat to the right of the video frame, eating up precious space, even in "theater mode." Even, inexplicably, if you opt to 'pop out' the chat frame (I mean, why?). I hope the author is still keeping an eye on it as I really appreciate having a choice.

Youtube theater mode broke in chrome version 139.0.7258.139

The button for the theater mode is gone after the latest chrome update. Would appreciate an update. Thank you in advance for making livestreams much more enjoyable and doing what Youtube for some reason still won't do.

You're Theater Mode is completely broken

I am missing options to turn everything to default so I can go back to previous causes the screen to go black. This started a couple of days ago. Most of my options are missing that allows me to turn on Theater Mode is missing. Needs a new update relatively soon.

A recently appeared YouTube bug.

After enabling the "Automatically enter livestreams theater mode (live)" option, the screen will turn completely black when entering a YouTube livestream, and you can only exit by pressing ESC.Here's my recording: https://youtu.be/SvZ3Ig5e6Z0

need more variation in username colors

well the subject pretty much says it... after refreshing several times, my username color is very similar or the same as another user in the chat & there's only a few of us there.
can you allow more variance in the colors or perhaps add a color picker to this option?

When setting up on-screen chat, the chat disappears after a certain period of time.

When setting up chat on the screen, the chat disappears after a certain period of time, and when you hover the mouse again, the chat appears, but it disappears again soon.

Gap between the chat and video

Every time I try to activate the plugin, there is a gray space between the chat and the video. I realized that the source of the problem is because my YouTube is in Hebrew, which is written from right to left , and it seems that this is what causes the problem. A few updates ago, everything was fine, and even though I was on Hebrew as the YouTube language, it still worked. As it should be. The problem started in one of the last updates

Youtube is trying their hand at Theater mode (not too hot so far), and the new layout broke the extension for me

"Chat width (next to video)" option don't work.

I tried to adjust the chat width to 340px like twitch chat, but chat width didn't change.
Also, when "force dark theme" option turn on and youtube using light theme, some button in stream info didn't display correctly.https://imgur.com/a/qiKLgCo
Finally, is it possible to adjust the position of "Livestreams Theater Mode" button to be with other buttons? The current position of the button is very easy for me to misclick because of muscle memory.
