Minimise side panel, custom app icons, open next to tab instead of overlay

I would like to request the following features: Can you minimise the side panel so just the app icons are visible on the edge of the browser for quick access? Can the apps automatically grab the site icon from the URL (currently new added apps all have Google icon)? When the side panel is opened can it open next to the opening tab (like split screen) instead of over the top of it? These will make the extension a lot more functional and user friendly.
