Teacher Speaker Button

Has anyone figured out a work around for the missing speaker control buttons? I am still not able to use the extension because it is no longer opening rooms that have the speaker control for the teacher. Please help. I use breakout rooms several times a week and I really miss being able to use this extension. It does open the rooms, but there is no way to hear just 1 room at a time anymore.

Mute participant Button disappeared again

I have been usiing this extension since corona and was very much helpfull for my online classes. Some months before it started misbehaving and disappeared from webstore. After it restored all was going well till two weeks before now it is not loading properly in google meet. especialy the mute participant butten is not appearing. Actually I am not using any other features of the extension since I cant find any option to integrate this with google calendar. Please check these issues and rectify it Thanks in advance.

Teacher Speaker Buttons

I read the post from Jan. 28 and I am now having the problem with no speaker buttons on any of my rooms. I even had the extension generate new breakout links hoping that would help but it has not. At first it was intermittent but now it is all rooms opened through the extension. As mentioned below it is really hard to lead a class with 3 breakout rooms when you hear them all - all the time. Thank you.

Teacher Speaker Button Missing

Hi,The teacher speaker button went missing for me on Jan 20. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it was working again by Jan 22. Today (Jan 27) I have lost the speaker button again. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall but is not working this time. I find this button very useful for having multiple meetings open at once. Help!

Mute participant Butten vanished

Hi I have been using your extention since the lockdown. It is very use full to me. I can open multiple meetings at the same time and can hear one by one using the mute participant butten But recently That option disappeared. Please help how to show the butten again

Mic, video and ability to mute tab issues

Today partway through the day I lost mic and video in google meet. I could click on it but it would not turn on. I uninstalled the breakout extension and then had my mic and video back. When I reinstalled the extension, the same problem happened.

Please help. I love your extension. I have been teaching virtually since covid and rely on your app for small groups because I can hear them all at the same time or focus on one group at a time.

Sound button gone,

Hello...I have used this extension for years. I purchased a new computer and immediately downloaded your extension. As a virtual teacher, this app allowed me to use breakout rooms successfully and efficiently. However, suddendly, the sound button disappeared and I am not longer able to mute breakout rooms. Also, google meet has become glitchy and often freezes. The only common denominator is this extension. I tried to uninstall the extension and I still get no sound button. However, this morning I reinstalled the extension, and suddenly I have a sound button. If I remove the extension=no sound button. I am very frustrated because I feel as if my google meets are now being held hostage by an app that no longer works. If I only want to open a google meet with all of its functions, I can only do so IF I have your extension. PLEASE HELP!!! Teaching online is my profession and I am no longer to teach successfully.

Losing connection from the 8th room (tab) open

Hello! This extension has been very important for us, but we are experiencing a very serious error: it only supports managing 7 open rooms (tabs). When it passes the 8th gear it starts to lose synchronization and stops working completely. It is very important that the developer reads this message, as this extension is essential in the work we do.

No longer working

I've been using this extention since we first locked down and it has been fantastic. But this year I'm encountering two problems:
1) a bug in the system has started randomly affecting my ability to hear student in my Meet speaking even when not running the extention. I had to disable the extention to fix this issue. Is it possible to figure out what the bug is and fix this?2) I tried launching breakout rooms today and kept getting the error message that the extention couldn't sync with the main meet so it refused to launch the breakout rooms. Is it possible to fix this?

No updates for over a year and a lot of issues – has this extension reached its end of life?

Hello there, Robert! I've used your Breakout Rooms extension very successfully back in 2021 and brought it back this week for a training session I'm teaching. However, it seems like there are many issues ranging from not being able to change colors on the Meet toolbar to mic/cam icons not becoming red or green when they're switched on. In addition, participants and the organizer are not being able to automatically join the breakout rooms, despite choosing the respective options on the settings tab, and the "sound on" option from the "broadcast to all breakout rooms" button seems not to be working. In fact, most of the time I can't hear the sound from each individual breakout room even if I click on the "sound on" icon on its specific window. Finally, on the version notes page, I saw a reference to version 19.7, but the version I have installed is 19.6. Are there any updates on schedule? By the way, this is a great extension – thank you very much for all the work you've done! All the best 👍
