April 8th Update Broke Compatibility with Arc Browser

I have not been able to use the Recall Extension since the April 8th update that broke compatibility with Arc Browser.

Arc does not support the chrome.sidePanel API (and may not ever), which the extension moved to for its April 8, 2026 update (https://feedback.recall.it/changelog/recall-release-notes-april-8-2026-browser-extension-side-panel-and-listen-mode-i).

Although Arc is likely the most notable Chromium browser that lacks support for this feature, it is not the only one.
Many devs implement a "fallback to popup" once they realize the side panel isn't universal. Hoping to see Recall do the same before my subscription is up for renew next month as, despite their attempts to copy Arc, there still isn't a browser out there that matches Arc's functionality and ease of use.

Arc Browser Extension - Don't Know What I'm Doing

Hey Recall team, maybe I'm unaware of how to operate the browser extension in Arc browser but I click the extension icon pinned to my toolbar and nothing happens. When I try to use the fly-out tool, nothing works on that tool on any site. I've installed, removed, reinstalled, authenticated, reauthenticated, quit and reopened Arc about 5 times and nothing seems to work for me. Any thoughts?

Recall suddenly fixed to left side of page. I want it to "float" on the right side of page

Recall now suddenly fixed to left side of page when opening ( I might have unknowing hit two keys at the same time that are a hotkey...or not). I want the Recall info page to "float" on the right side of page and close when I close the source page like it did when I origingally installed it, instead of staying open on the left side fixed to the subsequent page to the right (until I click a second time on the Recall toolbar icon. Can/should I uninstall/reinstall without losing saved information?

Can't download extension.

I am getting an error when I try to download the extension. It says "download error". Any suggestions on this?

Email summaries

When I get an email summary (in Gmail) from one email and then move to another email and request a summary of that email, it provides a summary of the prior email and not the second email. Is there a way to "clear" the prior summary so I can get a summary of the next email? I am using the Comet browser.

I am encountering an error when trying to install the Chrome Browser Extension - "Could not install package:'FAILED_TO_COPY_EXTENSION_FILE_TO_TEMP_DIRECTORY'. I tried installing several times and each time I get the same error message?

Downloead error: Image decode failed
