Extension stops suddenly & kills the tab shortly after starting it up for drops

Shortly after manually setting up the extension to start collecting drops watched time for the extension auto-opened game stream tab, the extension suddenly decides to stop working and closes the game stream it auto-opened and kills my earning time. It kept doing it over and over again until I was able to get the Twitch Drops Inventory page refreshed / updated to new drops. I'm not sure if this is related but after I acquired the new drops the extension kept stopping until then. Let me know if this is a bug you can replicate and fix? Thanks...
