There are a whole load of extensions who claim to stop shorts from doing the infinite scroll thing. Many do nothing, some just block access to shorts entirely. This one does actually do exactly what it says it does and puts all shorts as regular videos so you can avoid "just 1 more short" burning hours.

In my opinion, this is simply, irrefutably, the greatest extension on the entire Chrome web store. After I downloaded it, I instantly dropped Youtube Shorts as my shameful addiction. I started leaving the house again, finished my degree, met my now wife and had kids. I opened a business and now make 6 figures annually, and I have this extension to acknowledge for all of my success. I highly recommend this to anyone.

something so simple yet important especially in today's discretely manipulative web design, not being handed a chain of dopamine hits after scrolling down a bit makes a huge difference for remaining focused on living life

Stopped working. Tried clicking on the google doodle today which links to a short, and it just triggers an infinite loading loop.

Hey! Sorry to hear about your experience. I am unable to replicate your issue. When clicking on the doodle present on the google.com homepage, I do not see any sort of infinite loading issue. The video seems to load fine. If you are willing to help, it would be great if you could create a thread in the support tab (to the right of the reviews tab) with more detail. Doing so will also give me some basic diagnostic information that may help me fix this issue. I hope to hear back and get this resolved soon.
