Tab Protector

Doesn't work. Tabs get closed easily. And if the "Add current site"-url is too long, i can't even remove the added sites anymore because theremove-button is unreachable. only after u remove another added site, it will jump over, to the otherr remove buttons.

Pretty straightforward extension. It was easy to set up, and it just works. Solid choice if you want a simple way to lock your tabs down. One feature that would be really helpful is to include the option to protect only the main site/domain and ignore subpages. For example, protect example.com but not example.com/page1

2025-02: The extension does a great job of what it was created for - preventing accidental tab closing. In my case - Google Chrome Remote Desktop tabs when pressing keyboard shortcuts Alt + F4, Ctrl + W, etc. that are not transmitted to the remote machine. 2025-07: The extension no longer works as intended. After pressing Ctrl + W and then confirming the cancellation of closing the tab, the tab has to be reloaded because the image on it disappears.

Thanks for letting me know! This should be fixed now. If not, you may need to wait a bit for Chrome to auto-update the extension to the new version.
