I wasn't expecting much, but this karaoke extension is honestly awesome. Super easy to set up and works right away. I’ve been using it with YouTube and the lyrics sync up really well — no annoying delays. The song selection is surprisingly big, and I love that you can change the key and speed of the song. Makes it way more comfortable to sing along, even if you're not a pro. Great for casual singing at home or messing around with friends. It doesn’t slow down my browser either, which is a hug... Off to an interesting start. One of the issues I have it's not really karaoke as it doesn't work on the karaoke tracks, hopefully yet. It is really more of a sing-along with the lyrics synced to the song. One day, if you could figure out how to match the real song with the karaoke song the lyrics would still match up with the timing most times except for intros and outros. Thanks for your review and feedback! You’re absolutely right—for now, the extension functions more as a sing-along with synced lyrics rather than a full karaoke experience. I’ve been considering community-submitted corrections to improve the lyrics, but I’m also exploring a more robust solution: using AI to automatically generate timestamps for lyrics. That way, it could work seamlessly without relying on manual input. I’d love to tackle this when I have more time to dedicate to it. In the meantime, I really appreciate your input as it helps me know where to focus next!
