European Cloud User Coalition (ECUC)

The European Cloud User Coalition (ECUC) is an interest group for European Financial Institutions focused on Cloud related questions. The ECUC’s objective is to promote regulatory compliant use of public cloud in the European financial industry through technology standardization, developing common solutions and dialogue with the Cloud Service Providers.

To promote a structured dialog between cloud users, providers and other parties, the ECUC has created a  Checklist that translates the ECUC’s positions from their Position Paper 2.1 into questions that can be completed by cloud service providers. Google has completed the ECUC Checklist for Google Cloud services to help you understand how we can support you with the ECUC positions and assess us as an outsourced service provider.
