Hello firebase‑talk community,
I’m building an offline-first mental wellness companion app named Hold and Hope, powered by Firebase. It’s designed to live entirely on the user’s device—no internet needed—ensuring complete privacy and instant access during moments of emotional distress.
🔍 Project Overview
Hold and Hope is a private, evidence-based support app for users experiencing anxiety, crisis, or everyday emotional challenges.
It offers self‑care tools that foster resilience, comfort, and personal strength—all completely offline.
🚀 Core Features
Dashboard & Mood Check-In – Emoji-based daily check-ins with positive affirmations and emotional tracking.
Calming Activities – Guided breathing exercises and mindful observation to ground users when overwhelmed.
Hope Box – A user-owned vault for images, affirmations, audio memories, and personal achievements, designed to offer immediate emotional relief.
Safety Plan – Custom crisis guide with personal warning signs, coping strategies, and emergency contacts.
Resources Section – Curated, evidence-backed reads and inspirational videos for offline use.
