RTDB 90-120s delay after disconnect before value is actually deleted

When onDisconnectRemoveValue is called on a RTDB ref from Mac app, I'm seeing extremely long delays (90 secs - 120 secs) before the data is actually deleted following the user going offline.

This seems extremely weird and as you can imagine messes up having an accurate presence system.

Is this expected behaviour?
