MTA Planned Work API?

What is the best current way to pull upcoming service change / planned work in the upcoming week? I'm specifically confused about this month's changes on the Q line. 

In this JSON file ( https://api-endpoint.mta.info/Dataservice/mtagtfsfeeds/camsys%2Fsubway-alerts.json ) I looked for dates when the Q is not running "between Prospect Park and Coney Island": unless I'm reading that file wrong, it says the dates impacted are "Nov 18, 19, and 21, Tue, Wed, and Fri, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM"

However, according to this ( https://www.mta.info/alerts )  there aren't daytime changes on the Q this week, but it's not running between "Prospect Park and Coney Island" this weekend. But those dates aren't mentioned in the JSON file. 

Is the information on mta.info/alerts available through an API?

Hello! The subway alerts API ( https://api-endpoint.mta.info/Dataservice/mtagtfsfeeds/camsys%2Fsubway-alerts.json ) contains all the planned service changes shown on our website ( https://www.mta.info/alerts ). We were able to confirm this ourselves: at this moment, the active period for that Q alert is "Nov 21–24 and Nov 28–Dec 1" in both the API output and the website tool.
