About visual layout
The experimental feature called visual layout ( Labs)generates an immersive, magazine-style view of information, complete with photos and interactive modules.
About dynamic view
The experimental feature called dynamic view (Labs) can use advanced agentic coding capabilities to design and code a unique, single-purpose experience with a user interface that’s perfect for your specific prompt. You can then tap, scroll, and learn via this interactive response.
What you need
To use visual layout or dynamic mode you'll need:
- A personal Google account.
- To be 18 or older to use dynamic view
- To use this feature, you must be signed in to Gemini Apps. Learn how to sign in to Gemini Apps.
Important:
Dynamic view can create images as part of the response. These images will count towards your daily limit for image generation. Learn about Gemini Apps limits & upgrades for Google AI subscribers

However, visual layout doesn't create images, it draws on existing images from approved web sources. So these images do not count towards your daily limit for image generation.
Use visual layout or dynamic view
- On a computer, go to gemini.google.com .
- Below the text box at the bottom, click Tools
- Click Visual layout
or Dynamic view
.
- In the text box, enter your prompt.
- Click Submit
