You can find tasks you’ve assigned to Gemini Spark on the Tasks page in Gemini Apps. On the Tasks page, you can:
- Check the progress of all your tasksin a high level view
- Pin, rename, and delete task threadsso the important ones are easy to find
- Filter task threadsto quickly find tasks, especially ones that need your attention
What you need
To use Gemini Spark, you must:
- Be 18 or over and in the US.
- Sign in to the Gemini appwith a personal Google Account with a Google AI Ultra subscription. Learn how to upgrade .
- Have Keep Activity on.
Important:For now, Gemini Spark is:
- Only available in English.
- Only available in the Gemini mobile app and the Gemini web app at gemini.google.com .
Find your recent task threads & their progress
- On your computer, go to gemini.google.com .
- On the sidebar, click Change mode
Switch to Spark
.
- Check under “Recent” for your recent task threads.
- Threads that have unread Gemini responses are in bold.
- Check under a thread’s name for the latest progress on tasks.
- Click a thread to open it.
- To review the steps Gemini completed, at the top of the thread, click the current progress chip.
Filter or search for your tasks
- Filter your threads by status: click Recent
the status.
- Search your threads: click Search
, then start entering keywords.
Pin, unpin, or rename a task thread
- Pin a thread: hover over a thread and click More
.
- Unpin a thread: on the thread, hover over the Pin
.
- Rename a thread: hover over a thread and click More
.
- If the thread is pinned, first hover over the Pin
- If the thread is pinned, first hover over the Pin
Delete a task thread
- On your computer, go to gemini.google.com .
- On the sidebar, click Change mode
- Hover over the thread you want to delete.
- Click More

What happens when a task thread is deleted
Important: To manage Gemini Apps Activity, you need to sign in to Gemini Apps. Learn how to sign in to Gemini Apps .
If you delete a task thread, it also deletes the following:
- The task
- Related activity from your Gemini Apps Activity
- Schedules associated with that task
It does not delete:
- Any files that were created or modified like files in Google Workspace
- Any remote browser data or remote code execution data associated with the task
- You can delete these in the Gemini Spark settings menu
Tip: If task data in Gemini Apps Activity is deleted, then that task’s activity is deleted from the Tasks page and any associated schedules will also be deleted from the Schedules page.
