Zapier is a third party integration partner that allows you to integrate your Customer Relationship Manager (CRM), Customer Data Platform (CDP), or any one of their other over 4,000 apps with Google Ads to access their features, such as offline conversion import, customer match lists creation, and leads export.
How it works
You can connect to Zapier to create data integrations (Zaps) to automate workflows between web applications. You can then connect to a product that is supported by Zapier, including Hubspot, Salesforce , and Shopify. For example, you can use the “Salesforce via Zapier” connection that sends Salesforce contacts to Zapier for data integration, then to Google Ads to create a customer match list for targeting.
Link Zapier and Google Ads
Use the following steps to link to Zapier and Google Ads:
- Go to Data Manager
in Toolsmenu
.
- Scroll down to “Featured products” in the Connected productstab.
- Select Search all.
- Search for Zapier in the “Data source” search bar.
- Select Authorize.
Optional: Under “Create data integration in Zapier,” select "Create data integration". Follow the steps on the Zapier website to create the integration. After linking Zapier, you can create and manage customer lists by selecting "Go to audience manager" .
You are now linked to Zapier and the account is added to the “Connected products” list. If you select "Manage & link" you’ll be taken to a page where you can either unlink Zapier or log into your Zapier account and set up your customer lists, conversions, and so on. To leave this page, select “Connected products” above Zapier name at the top left.
Unlink Zapier and Google Ads
- Go to Data Manager
in Toolsmenu
- Scroll down to “Connected products” in the Connected productstab.
- Search for Zapier and select Manage & link.
- In the “Linked” tab, select Unlinkin the “Action” column.
