Reasons why the issue is happening
Some of your products are missing shipping costs. These products will remain disapproved until you provide a shipping cost for the item.
Shipping costs are defined using the account-level shipping settings
, or adding the shipping [shipping]
attribute for each product.
It’s recommended to set up shipping settings at the account level, and then, if necessary, override your account shipping settings for specific products when they have different shipping requirements using the shipping [shipping]
attribute.
How to fix the issue
Add a shipping cost to the affected products.
Fix shipping settings for your whole account
1. In your Merchant Center account , select Products & storein the left navigation menu.
2. Select Shipping and returns.
3. Under the "Shipping policies" tab, select Add shipping policy.
4. From the drop-down menu, select Shipping for online products.
5. Proceed to configure your shipping information.

, and shipping height [shipping_height]
data.6. Select Save. It may take 24 - 72 hours for the changes to reflect in your account.
Fix shipping settings using the shipping [shipping]
attribute
1. In your Merchant Center account , select Products & storein the left navigation menu.
2. Select Products, then select the Needs attentiontab.
3. Use the filter iconabove the table to find all products affected by your issue.
4. Select the Downloadiconto download a list (.csv) of all affected products for all issues or this particular issue.
5. Cross-reference the downloaded list with your uploaded product data and ensure that for these products, a valid product level shipping setting is applied via the shipping [shipping]
attribute.
Note: It may also be necessary to update the shipping weight [shipping_weight]
, shipping length [shipping_length]
, shipping width [shipping_width]
, and shipping height [shipping_height]
data.
6. Reupload your corrected product data to Merchant Center using your chosen upload method. After re-uploading, allow 24 - 72 hours for the system to process the updates.
