How to fix: Invalid product availability

Update your product availability so customers know if your product is in stock

Why this issue is happening

The value that you provided for this attribute could not be recognized.

For each attribute that is included in your product data, you must submit a valid and recognizable value. For example, you could submit "in_stock" or "out_of_stock" for the availability [availability] attribute, but you cannot submit "pending" .

How to fix your issue

To resolve this issue, ensure that you select the correct product availability [availability] attribute value for your product in the Merchant center.

Fix products one by one directly in Merchant Center

Step 1Navigate to Productsin Merchant Center, then select the Needs attentiontab.

Step 2Use the filter iconabove the table to find all products affected by your issue.

Step 3Click on the title of the product you want to fix, then click Edit product.

Step 4Make sure that each affected product has a valid availability [availability] attribute entered.

Step 5Select Save.

Fix multiple products at once

Step 1Navigate to Productsin Merchant Center, then select the Needs attentiontab.

Step 2Use the filter iconabove the table to find all products affected by your issue.

Step 3Select the downloadiconto download a list (.csv) of all affected products for all issues or this particular issue.

Step 4Cross reference the downloaded list with your uploaded product data, and make sure that each affected product has a valid availability [availability] attribute entered.

Step 5Reupload your corrected product data to Merchant Center using your chosen upload method.

After making the requested changes, check that you’ve fixed the issue by making sure the issue is no longer listed on the “ Needs attention ” page.

Keep in mind: It may take 24-72 hours for your change to be reflected on the “ Needs attention ” page.
