You can connect your Pixel to a mobile network with an active nano SIM card.

Important:These steps work for Pixel 6a and later. The SIM tray for other devices may be in a different place.
- On the left edge of your Pixel phone, near the bottom, look for a small hole.
- Insert the SIM ejection tool that came with your Pixel phone into the hole.

Firmly but gently, push the tool until the tray pops out.
Step 3 of 5
Remove the tray.
Step 4 of 5
Put the nano SIM card in the tray with the contacts facing up.
Tip: If you need a new nano SIM card for your phone, contact your carrier.
Step 5 of 5
Gently push the tray back into its slot. Your phone automatically reads the SIM card.
