Turn on electric vehicle (EV) features and Waze will display EV charging stations along your route on the map.
Step 1: Turn on EV features for your car
You only need to do this once.
- Open Waze
- Tap
- Tap Settings
- Tap Vehicle details
- Tap Electric vehicles
- Turn on "Turn on EV features"
- Add plugs and networks to only show charging stations that work with your car:
- Plugs: Tap Plugs and select your plug type. You can select more than one.
- Networks: Tap Networks and select your preferred network. You can select more than one.
Step 2: Search for EV stations nearby
- Open Waze
- Tap the search bar
- Tap EV charging under the search bar
- Select the charging station you want to navigate to. Swipe up to see details about the station.
- Tap View routes
- Tap Go nowto navigate to the charging station, or tap Leave laterto plan a drive
Note:If you just turned on EV features, it might take a few hours for EV chargingto appear. If you don't see it, try to restart Waze.
