Washington, D.C. – April 2024 – Global nonprofit ecolabel Green Seal today announced that it is partnering with Service 2 Software to provide internships for veterans entering the civilian job market. Through this mutually beneficial relationship, Green Seal and Service 2 Software will provide valuable training and experience to support veterans transitioning into careers in sales and customer success.
Service 2 Software is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preparing transitioning military personnel for careers in sales. As the first SkillBridge approved sales program, Service 2 Software works with the Department of Defense to connect some of the 250,000 service members transitioning out of the military each year with internship opportunities. The organization offers military personnel the opportunity to gain valuable civilian work experience prior to leaving active duty by pairing companies looking to hire salespeople with active-duty service members in their last 180 days of service.
Transitioning military members are often equipped with the qualities needed to succeed in civilian occupations, including proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; strong work ethic; and dedication. An internship with Green Seal offers these exceptional job candidates the opportunity to apply their skills to support a mission-based non-profit organization while gaining experience to launch their civilian careers.
