THRICE CAPADES

Welcome back to Brenizer’s Fine Foods ‘n Stuff! Where the top of the pops meet to bop ‘n shop!
And imagine fates worse than death, apparently.
Hey! It’s Brenizer’s Fine Foods ‘n Stuff! Seems like it’s been forever since we visited everybody’s favorite market.

Yes, Larry does have a scary brain. He’s a lot like a comic creator (well, most of ’em) that way.
Will Edison make Larry’s nightmares come true? We’ll see in a little while. Meanwhile, it’s back to the house and Robespierre and… and you’ll see.

Okay, well, since WordPress erased my comment, I’ll try again.
I’m a non-drinker too. I love the taste, but I don’t like to lose control, and beer makes me sleepy. Also, I quit smoking years ago, and drinking just isn’t as fun without a cigarette. So I just stopped two vices at once.
I CAN QUIT COFFEE WHENEVER I WANT! DON’T JUDGE ME!
Ah, the notorious “Epilogue.” Some of it’s canon, some may be subject to change when we get there.
And they will not only have detoxed Edison, they will have done a little bit of brainwork (not much) to make it easier for her to stay sober. Still, the majority of the work is up to her.
Didn’t know that about mantlepiece/mantelpiece! I’m gonna look it up in my old dictionaries at the bookstore tomorrow. Thank you for that!

I’m a non-drinker, partly by choice, partly because alcohol makes me sweat and feel nauseous. On the other hand, I’ve got a bit of an “addiction” tendency toward nearly everything else I do (that’s bad for me), so at least I understand the difficulty of breaking the habit. Unless alt-universe Eleanor has some really double-plus-ungood means of actually changing the way she thinks, just purging her body of the alcohol toxins is only step one of the process.

She has lots of reasons to quit, I can only hope she’s taken them all in and made them hers.

I flatly refused at the time – and still refuse – to accept your previous “future recap” to be canon. I don’t want to see that bottle on the mantelpiece.

Aside: did you know there’s no consensus in Google for the spelling of that word? Mantelpiece/mantlepiece – both seem to show up interchangeably. I checked.

Maybe. Who knows? She might be Edison, only happier.

Ah. Only time, and Edison, will tell.

You raise some good points, as always, my friend. They’ll have to learn how to deal with her, while she learns how to deal with herself and everyone around her.
I think Edison and Larry have the same fear: Will they still love one another?

My vote is: Edison, just crankier. ^^

Problem is maybe the reality might surpass even Larry’s worst imagined scenario.

All I know is that she’s NOT coming back as any one of those three. I’m gonna go out on a limb and say IF this happens, and IF she’s changed at all, she’s simply not going to know entirely who she is anymore. Where she stands, what he place is, how to relate to the people around her. It’s gonna be tough, no matter what. And if Steph and Larry do anything rash, it might be alot worse.
