Liberty Ross, the 34-year-old wife of Rupert Sanders—director of Snow White and the Huntsman, whose dalliance with Kristen Stewart last summer enraged legions of Twihards, leading to her split with Robert Pattinson, before their reunion—filed for divorce last night in a Los Angeles court. The British model who, along with Kate Moss, epitomized English fashion for a time (Kate still does, of course), relocated to L.A. in 2002 to support her husband’s film career and raise a family—and while she was at it, pursue an acting career of her own.

Despite the sensational headlines and the media glare, the divorce seems to be as amicable as they come. Ross and Sanders have been in counseling since the scandal erupted, trying to make it work, and they’ve asked for joint custody of their two children.

Here’s the interesting twist. According to Page Six, Ross has “become close” with Jimmy Iovine, the music mogul who’s pretty much responsible for the careers of Lady Gaga, Eminem, and many others. So, she’ll be fine. Even if that doesn’t work out, she’ll always have a home in fashion.
