The iPad 2 saw the same improvements in the iPhone 4, absent the proprietary Retina Display. It featured a front-facing camera, a beefier dual-core A5 processor and faster flash memory storage.
It was the first iPad to natively support video-calling, via Apple’s FaceTime and iMessage, the instant messaging system that was made available on mobile devices as diverse as the iPod Touch and the iPhone.
