Re: הילף מיט רימיינד עפפ Remind
We’re reaching out to let you know about an upcoming change to your Remind service for the following classes linked to the organization ............
..........
.......... .......
The reason Remind can provide SMS text messaging as part of our free Chat service is because of fee waivers that wireless carriers make available for K-12 schools and districts. Unfortunately, this means we aren’t able to support SMS texting for any organization using Chat that isn’t a K-12 school or district.
Beginning on September 2, 2024, SMS texting will no longer be available as part of your Remind Chat service for the classes above. This means that when you send a message to these classes on Remind, recipients will not be able to receive them via text. However, recipients can still receive your messages via smartphone app, email, and web.
To make sure you don’t lose contact with participants who only receive messages via text, please message your class before September 2 and encourage them to download the Remind app here: rmd.me/app.
The following options may be available to you as well:
If your classes are part of a K-12 school or district and you’re receiving this email in error, please fill out this form.
If your organization is not a K-12 school or district and would like to continue using SMS texting, you may be able to purchase Remind for a minimum annual contract of $1500. Please contact our sales team to see if this is an option for your organization.
We know that this will be a change for you and your classes, and we’re sorry for the impact on your Remind experience. We’ll be in touch with a final reminder before the change to your service is made.
