Hi. Everyone.
I am looking for a partner to travel to Saudi Arabia for the week of Mar 5 to Mar 10.
I have traveled to several non conventional countries already, or by myself or a friend/family etc. Among them Jordan, Morroco, San Salvador & Guatemala.
The reason why in Saudi Arabia I am more looking to take a partner or even 2 or 3, is because in SA there is not an efficient public transportation system, atleast from what I was able to find on the web.
Renting a car and driving myself will exhaust me faster and plus it will be very expensive, as there is no free unlimited mileage.
My raw itinerary consist, of leaving Moitzai Shabbos from NY connecting via an European airport, several options available, arriving in Medina or Jeddah or Tabuk Monday morning.
Than travel to a city called Khaybar, where it said to have had years ago a jewish community. Than drive to Al Ism, where there is said to have the remnants of the שבעים תמרים which the Yidden had after קריעת ים סוף.
My main focus of the trip is to visit Jabal Al Lawz, where there are שיטות that that mountain is הר סיני.
My reason of doing it that specific week is because I am trying to go over the border to Jordan and than to Israel and be ז אדר in Meron.
To be able to get a visa at Saudi Arabia, I believe you need to be fully vaccinated.
I got my evisa a few hours after filling out the application, pretty smooth.
