Job Responsibilities: ⦁ Manage Accounts Receivable: ⦁ Prepare, post, verify and record customer payments and transactions. ⦁ Create and submit invoices to customers according to company practices. ⦁ Prepare authorization forms and ensure timely and accurate client execution. ⦁ Assist with the creation of proposals. ⦁ Draft professional correspondence for standard post-due accounts and collections. ⦁ Create reports regarding current status of customer accounts as requested. ⦁ Reconcile accounts receivables on a regular basis. ⦁ Manage Accounts Payable: ⦁ Accurately review, code and process vendor invoices. ⦁ Perform data entry associated with accounts payable. ⦁ Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies. ⦁ Address and respond to vendor inquiries. ⦁ Communicate with management, customers and vendors, as appropriate. ⦁ Maintain bank accounts and perform accurate and timely reconciliations for multiple accounts. ⦁ Balance general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries. ⦁ Maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance. ⦁ Work within the established system to account for financial transactions and follow bookkeeping policies and procedures. ⦁ Maintain historical records by filing documents. ⦁ Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends. ⦁ Manage annual insurance policies, including premiums, coverage, and audits. ⦁ Assist CFO with financial reporting, cash flow analysis and monthly review of balance sheet. ⦁ Contribute to team effort by supporting related results as needed.
Qualifications / Skills: ⦁ Proven bookkeeping experience. ⦁ Understanding of accounting principles. ⦁ Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. ⦁ Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office. ⦁ High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. ⦁ Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ⦁ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment ⦁ Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers and vendors. ⦁ Construction or Consulting industry experience, a plus.
