Kallispell woman faces charges for pushing her new husband off a cliff
Cody Lee Johnson was reported missing in Glacier National Park in July, and now his wife, Jordan Linn Graham, faces homicide charges. The 22-year-old told investigators her, and her now deceased husband, got in an argument on a hiking trail in Glacier Park. Graham stated that she started to walk away, but her new husband grabbed her arm. After removing Johnson’s hand from her arm, she became angry and pushed Johnson in the back. Big names in business headed to Butte for 6 th Montana Economic Summit
Next week some of the top names in business will send leaders to Butte to discuss the future of Montana’s economy. The 6 th Montana Economic Summit will feature speakers from Google, Facebook, Conoco Philips, and Fed Ex. The summit, co-sponsored by the Montana Chamber of Commerce , will offer panels, hands-on session, as well as speakers all of which are designed to showcase emerging markets in the state. School day at Big Sky High School optional after threat
Authorities are taking a bomb/shooting threat written on a bathroom wall in Big Sky High School very seriously. School officials are telling parents that school will be optional on Friday after the threat was discovered, but emphasis that the school has taken necessary procedures in order to provide a safe environment for students and faculty alike. The school was swept for bomb and other devices that would pose a threat to safety and an extra police presence will be on hand during school hours and at school functions. Hunter wounds bear that attacked his partner
An archery hunter, who spotted a bear while elk hunting, wounded a black bear. The hunter waited several hours before tracking the animal in hopes that it would die; however, the hunter found the animal still alive. After shooting it two more times with his bow, the bear ran down hill straight into the archer’s hunting partner. The bear bit the man’s arm during a brief struggle before the animal died.
