Uncircumsised Phimosis Frenulum Treatments and Advice Follow Ups:
Surgical procedure treatment- Reply by:RichT Hello,
I suspect that your tight frenulum on the "back" side of your penis is preventing your foreskin from being pulled back when you are erect. I would highly recommend that you speak to your doctor, and preferably a urologist. I know we guys don't like to see doctor's about such things, but trust me it is the best thing to do to relieve the pain and hurting. Your doctor will be understanding, professional, and will try to help you. It is my understanding that a fairly simple surgical procedure treatment can solve the problem.
SOOOooo do seek professional medical advice, you will be glad you did.
Uncircumsised painful penile erections- Reply by:Al I am uncircumsised and with an erection my penis foreskin does not pull back as well. I think this is normal as long as it is not painful. If it is painful, it may be an indication of other problems and maybe a visit to the doc is in order.
Glans Banjo String bandlike ligament returns the retracted foreskin- Reply by: jim On the underside of the glans (Penis head), the foreskin's point of attachment is advanced toward the meatus (urethral opening) and this strand of skin (Banjo String) forms a bandlike ligament called the frenulum. It is identical to the frenulum that secures the tongue to the floor of the mouth. The foreskin's frenulum holds it in place over the penis glans, and, in conjunction with the smooth muscle fibres, helps return the retracted foreskin to its usual forward position over the penis glans."
The frenulum is "particularly responsive to penis stimulation," and "very reactive," thus contributing to erogenous pleasure during sexual activity.
Frenulum breve is the condition in which the frenulum of the penis is short and restricts the movement of the prepuce, and may or may not interfere with normal sexual activity
The penis strand of skin split, break or cut called Frenulum Tear affects about 5% of uncircumcised men, mostly aged 17 to 30.
Hopefully this strand of skin never breaks. Use a mild lubricanttopical non-steroid ointment creamon you penis in that area to keep the Freenulum soft. You may want to use a condem to protect the penis area during sexual activety. If you have a painful split or the Frenulum has cuts or breaks, it would be beneficial to consider a visit to a Urologist doctor for a comprehensive evaluation of available options.
Another option besides foreskin surgery, is atopical non-steroid ointment cream
