Painful burning sensation when urinating- Posted byConcerned: I have recently been having problems with my little guy down there.
I've been dating a guy for well over a year and some change, we both got tested, all negative, we were both clean.
He was my first, and I was his. Havn't had sex with him in a while, we broke up. Anyway, here's my problem.
I don't really understand what it could be. I am an extremely healthy individual, I don't smoke or drink. I
've gotten tested before I have had sex, and after. Only been sexually active with my partner and we both gotSTD tested. I clean myself thoroughly and I eat healthy.
I alsoexcercisefrequently.
This has never happened to me before. Me and my ex-boyfriend are going to the STI clinic tomorrow.
In the meantime, is there any possible explanation?
P.S: It might be beneficial to mention that before I had went to urinate.
Me and my ex were fooling around in bed. Nothing sexual mind you.
But he did stroke my bare penis and manage to jerk it off for about 5 seconds. Maybe that can be a factor?Thank you for your time.

DysuriaUrination UTI bacteria or VirusPosted by: MSH Burning sensation while urinating is called dysuriaUrination - painful.
Although the dysuriaUrination - painful and pain you describe at the tip
of the penis can be due to a urinary tract infection (UTI), urethritis (inflammation/irritation of the urethra)
is usually the most likely possibility
in the setting you mention.
In most cases, bacteria first begin growing in the urinary tract.
An infection limited to the urinary tract is called urethritis.
Urethritis is frequently associated with a discharge, the color and consistency of which would depend on
the cause of the urethritis.
Urethritis may be caused by bacteria or a virus.
The same bacteria that cause urinary tract infections (E. coli) and somesexually transmitted diseases(chlamydia, gonorrhea) can lead to urethritis.
Viral causes of urethritis include herpes simplex virus and cytomegalo virus.
Risks for urethritis include: * High-risk sexual behavior (such as anal sex without a condom) * History ofsexually transmitted diseases * Male, ages 18 - 35 * Many sexual partners
If the penis urethra tract infection is not treated promptly, bacteria may then go up the ureters to infect the kidneys
(pyelonephritis).
People with urethritis who are being treated should avoid sex or use condoms during sex.
If an VD infection is the cause of theinflammation,
your sexual partner must also be treated.
Some causes of UTI may be avoided with good personal hygiene and by practicing safer sexual behaviors.
Please visit your doctor for diagnostic and treatment options pertaining to your specific medical condition.
