"Can Riding My Bike Causes Peyronie's Hooking Disease?"
Contracted PD curvature through riding my bike - Posted byRJH: I am now 65 years old and at 58, I contracted penilePeyronie's Disease (PD)curvature/bending of
the genital.
All reports that I have read indicate that the plaque or hard lump on my penis is caused by PHYSICAL trauma at some stage in life, which could be from infancy to a recent period of peyronies diagnosis. I believe I contracted PD curvature through riding my bike
(The incidence of PD is more than 200% higher in cyclists than any other athletic sport).
At that time I was riding my
bike almost every day and for at least two hours on Saturdays and Sundays. The seat was probably set too high at the front,
which might be the root cause of the agrivation. The result was that my Genital shrank to be extremely short (when flaccid),
I suffered severe pain (when errect), a severe bend in the penis shaft when erect more than 45 degrees), severe shortening of length and girth (when erect). This peyrones curvature condition continued for more than a year and was diagnosed by two different Urologists
who told me that there was little they could do for me.

Penile hard plaque indurationReply by: MSH Peyronie's penis disease (penile induration), a condition of uncertain cause,
is a tissues disorder that is characterized by a plaque, or hard lump abnormalities, that forms on the genital.
The plaque develops on the upper or lower side of the genital in layers containing erectile tissue.
The bending, hooking or curvature symptoms begins as a localized inflammation and can develop into a hardened scar. The bicycle riding may cause truma damage to the nerve endings (numbness) in the male genital area but, doubtful about causing plaque.Click for Peyronie's Penile Curvature & Bending Disease Photo

Penile peyronies bending cause?- Posted by: Robert Robinson: I am 61 year old with symptoms of peyrones curvature disease which I have had for over 3 years and the condition is no better or no worse.
I have no pain associated with it. I have had a history of very high chlorestrol for a number of years.
Would this cause penile peyronies bending? Also, my bloodwork indicated that my blood clots too quickly.
Could that be a factor? Take elevil and niaspan prescription drugs...could these affect this problem?
Low DC voltageReply by:Stan Sloan) I have had PD for over 5 years, at first it bent at a 45 degree, but after it stopped getting as hard it
did not hurt as much, I have tried low DC voltage vitamin E, A and C nothing seems to work.
I am now 52 and would appreciate trying anything but surgery. e-mail stan@whosereality,com
Erection painReply by:mike I went to a doctor at the VA and he said I might have this disease.
I don't have any curvature but I do feel hardness along the urine tract and pain with an erection. what do you think?
Vitamin "e" treatment adviceReply by:bobUnfortunately folks there is no perfect cure. I also suffer from peyrones.
Take lots ofvitamin "e", avoid aggressive sex and try to eat healthy.
My urologist says there is a lot of research, but nothing definitive.
Most "hardness on top of the genital shaft", usually goes away in two to three years. Do not listen or prescibe to phony bullshit! There is NO cureall!

BlockagePosted by:Steve Clayton I have a hardness (all of the time) at the end of my penis that goes into my body.
I am 56 y/o and it has been bothering me for years and it has seemed to gotten worse recently.
Do you know about this condition. It may have started as a blockage I had as a teenager and I never looked into it.
Hardness AnswersReply by: grant A plaque forms on the inside of your penis and hardens. Sometimes it causes the penis to bend or curve more that normal.Click For Free Medical Doctor Answers
No cureReply by: pop Hey listen to what bob said above. There is no cure. Vitamin "e" is the only treatment besides surgery. But, it's always
good to check with a doctor for the lastest treatment developements.Click to locate doctor near you.
