Moline Library is very good. Definitely sign up for their child or adult reading program every year. They have some good things you can win like 2017 had 8 different $50 gift cards to different loca ... l stores. They have a good selection of books, magazines, dvds and video games you can borrow. It's open from 9 am to 8 pm Monday to Thursday, 9 am to 5 pm Friday and Saturday. They also have 24 computers people can use for the internet. If you need a library it's one of the best nearby. The kids loved the petting zoo! We went inside to start looking for books but computers where down. Kids loved playing with the puppets and other items in kids area. Went to check out book but becau ... se our Moline house has a Rock Island address for mailing purposes we could not get the book we wanted and were told we have to go to Rock island library to get library cards. This was the only negative and frustratin g part of our visit. We do love all the events and will be back often during this summer break. See More

My almost three yr old and 6 yr old always enjoy visiting their local library. Great selection of books for the boys and a great selection of toys to play with as well. I love the programs they offer as well.

We had a great visit. My son has a reading bingo sheet for school and he has to read @ 10 books in different genres to complete and then make a book report for each book. Our librarian was so helpful ... and even made some family reading suggestion s for us. We topped off our visit with a game of checkers and a stop at the coffee shop!! See More

I needed to print a paper as my printer at home wasnt working so came to the library, as I walked upstairs to use a computer and attempt to print my paper I get an "excuse me maam since you have a kid ... you must use the computers downstairs " I said im printing a paper and leaving she said "well next time, kids arent allowed up here" ummmm okay rude much? Needless to say I wont be returning to this library! See More

Storytime for Littles is pretty great! Theresa keeps it moving along, and engages the kids in activities & free play afterwards . We enjoy the entire Children's Department at MPL!

I very much hope the Moline Public Library will acquire a copy of my latest book "Abolition ism and the Civil War in Southweste rn Illinois" (The History Press, ISBN 978-1-6094 9-328-8). My book is curr ... ently in the libraries of Harvard, Princeton, Brown, Penn, Cornell, Illinois, Illinois State, Stanford, Notre Dame, Rice, Purdue, Vanderbilt and many other universiti es. I'd really like to see it in Moline! See More
