Barter dollar card rate is #525 (naira) per $ as at 30th of July 2021.
I confirmed this while I was trying to create barter virtual card for some online payments.
So, if you want to confirm the barter flutterwave exchange rate, login to the barter app and create a dollar virtual card or fund an existing one.
You must have enough fund in your barter naira wallet before you can be allowed to create the barter dollar virtual card. If there is no fund in it, you can add money to the naira wallet easily via bank transfer to your unique barter bank account.
Minimum fund is $5 and you will be charged $2 virtual card creation fee.
How do I create a Virtual card on barter app ?
To create a barter dollar card, follow these steps:
- Download barter by flutterwave app for Android or iOS
- Click on “Cards”
- Click on ‘New card’ (if you are using your mobile application this is at the top right corner of your screen)
- Click on “choose virtual card”

Where can I use Barter dollar card?
You can use your Barter card on most merchant sites where the Visa logo is displayed.
The Barter USD card can be used on all global merchant payment sites like Uber, Netflix, Google Play, Apple Music, Asos, Udemy, Coursera, AliExpress, Namecheap, Facebook, PayPal, etc. for payments and purchases.
NB: Barter cards will not work on any bitcoin, binary option, trading or money transfer websites, betting websites, and funding cryptocurrency websites as Barter cards are specifically designed for merchant payments.
