2022 JAMB Registration Started Feb 19, Ending 26th March

The 2022 JAMB Registration for the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME and Direct Entry started on February 19, 2022. THE Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB made the announcement in its weekly news bulletin, released in Abuja, by its Head of Media and Protocol, Dr Fabian Benjamin.

According to JAMB, the UTME “holds from 6th to 15th May 2022.”

It said the deadline for 2022 jamb registration is March 26, 2022.

On the other hand, the board announced that 2022 Jamb Mock Examination would take place on Saturday April 9th, 2022.

The board, this year, has introduced computer studies and physical and health education as UTME subjects i.e candidates sitting for the jamb examination can now pick computer studies or physical health education as part of their four UTME subjects if they so desire or as dictated by their programme preference.

Meanwhile, the Board has approved the constitution of a Management Committee to monitor the ongoing 2022 UTME registration exercise nationwide.

“To ensure that the candidates and the public gets quality services and are not extorted, the Board would be monitoring the UTME /DE registration 2022 exercise, as well as assess how the centres are shouldering the added responsibility.

“The exercise is part of the Board’s resolve to ensure that its agents play according to the rules as anyone found wanting would be delisted. Furthermore, the centres were also charged to refrain from charging above the regulated jamb registration fees,” it stated.

Where To Register for Jamb Examination ?

JAMB Registration is carried out only at the accredited Jamb Computer Based Test Centres (CBT) and Professional Registration Centres (PRC)

Each candidate should visit any accredited CBT centre listed on the Board’s website (https://www.jamb.gov.ng) and pasted at IAMB Offices across the country with his/her jamb profile code and jamb e-PIN. Anybody who registers outside these centres does so at his/her own risk.

How Much Is Jamb Registration 2022 ?

Wondering how much does it costs to register for jamb?

Well, for the JAMB registration 2022, candidates are required to pay a total of Four Thousand Seven Hundred (4,700) Naira only as the jamb registration fee.

This includes the regulated sum of Seven Hundred (N700) Naira charged for CBT centre service charge to be paid to the CBT centres, Three Thousand, Five Hundred (3, 500] Naira as registration fee. Additional Five Hundred (#500) Naira only, is paid to obtain the reading text “The Life Changer” by Khadija Abubakar Jali for every Candidate.

$20 is the jamb application fee for candidates from the nine foreign centres.

A Compact Disc (CD) containing JAMB eSyllabus, eBrochure and other vital materials is given free to every registered candidate.

How To Register for Jamb With NIN

NIN IS A COMPULSORY REQUIREMENT FOR 2022 UTME/DE REGISTRATION. KINDLY GET YOUR NIN BEFORE THE START OF JAMB REGISTRATION EXERCISE.

SMS ‘NIN’, space, & your 11-digit NIN number to 55019 or 66019 in this format (NIN 00123456789). Note that there should be a space between the word ‘NIN’ and your 11-digit NIN.

You will receive an SMS with the 10-character jamb profile code and your registered NIN Name.

Then, proceed to buy jamb pin from banks or online jamb pin vending portals .

After you buy the pin, proceed to nearby jamb cbt center to complete your 2022 jamb registration.
