MTN Nano SIM Card for iPhone5: Picture, Price and Where to buy it in Nigeria

The iPhone 5 uses the Nano SIM card , which is smaller than the Micro SIM and SIM cards found in the iPhone 4S and other phones. This means you will have to cut your microSIM card or your normal SIM card for you to be able to use them on iPhone 5. Don’t want to cut your SIM cards? Well, you can buy a Nano SIM card for your iPhone 5.

MTN Nigeria, is set to release the iPhone 5 compatible nano-SIM cards. Nano sim card is not different (apart from the size) from the existing SIM cards and it offers the same functionality. It is 40% smaller than micro sim and about 0.67mm thicker than micro sim.

Where To Buy Nano SIM card

According to MTN, the Nono sim will be available at MTN Walk-in Centres nationwide from October 5, 2012

What is the price of  Nano SIM card?

I don’t know the exact price for now but I doubt if it will cost more than N1, 000.

Once the sim card is available, I will know the exact price of the Nano SIM card in Nigeria.

If you can’t wait for a Nano sim card, you can use a Nano SIM cutter to trim your Micro SIM to a Nano SIM.
