Tecno has unveiled Camon 16 series smartphones with four cameras on the back and two on the front. The series include three phones – Tecno Camon 16 Premier, alongside the Tecno Camon 16 Pro and the Tecno Camon 16.
The Tecno Camon 16 Premier which is already available for sale in Kenya and can be pre-ordered in Nigeria , features 6.9” Full HD+ screen, Helio G90T chipset and a 4,500 mAh battery with 33W fast-charging.
On the back the Premier has a 64 MP Sony IMX686 sensor as a main camera, accompanied by an 8 MP ultrawide-angle snapper, and two 2MP units to assist night photos, and Portraits. The Tecno Camon 16 Premier seems to be Infinix Zero 8 with a different design on the back.
Thanks to its TAIVOS (TECNO AI Vision Optimization Solution) technology, the smartphone can easily handle low-light and night shots. It’s also able to process and enhance image and video quality by running a series of algorithms to optimise shooting conditions.In the Ultra Night Video-shoot mode, this mobile phone uses 2.9μm super-large pixels which can provide users with a brighter video shooting experience in dark environments and can also shoot stable 1080p videos.

Tecno is currently selling the Camon 16 Premier with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage for KES28,999 (about $275).
The price of Tecno Camon 16 Premier in Nigeria will be around #120,000 once available.
