I’ve finally installed a WordPress GDPR plugin on my blog, thereby making the blog to comply with European privacy regulations known as GDPR, failure of which can result to large fines.
I’ve been able to add GDPR consent bar to the blog, by making use of the plugin. The name of the plugin is : “WP GDPR Compliance”
The plugin also makes the WordPress comments form and Contact form 7 forms on my blog to comply with GDPR by simply adding a checkbox for consent to the forms.
It also supports Gravity Forms (>= 1.9) and WooCommerce (>= 2.5.0). So, if you are in need of a wordpress comments gdpr compliance plugin, you can give it a try.
The plugin can also generate a private page which users can use to request for their data stored in the WordPress database (comments, WooCommerce orders etc.). Data found is send to their email address and allows them to put in an additional request to have the data anonymised.
