Team Selection in the club admin dashboard

Create a team selection

Step-by-step guide:

  • Go to the club admin dashboard
  • Click ' Teams' from the left-hand menu
  • Click the team name from the sub-menu
  • Click ' Match Centre' on the fixture

  • Click ' Team Selection'

  • Select your players from the list to the right-hand side of the page

  • Click ' Publish'

  • Click ' Not published', ' Published to players' or ' Published to all'
  • Not published- only Team Admins of the team and Webmasters can view the team selection in the club control panel and Manager app.
  • Published to players- players/parents can confirm their selection, but they cannot see who else has been selected.
  • Published to all- all visitors can see the team selection on the website and Club app.
    • Published to members- team selections can be set to private via the team's settings page so that only authorised members of the club can view the published team selection (visitors and supporters cannot view a private team selection)

Formations and starters

Step-by-step guide:

  • Go to the club admin dashboard
  • Click ' Teams' from the left-hand menu
  • Click the team name from the sub-menu
  • Click ' Match Centre' on the fixture

  • Click ' Team Selection'

  • Click ' Edit' next to the formation to change the number of players and the formation you wish to use

  • Click the dropdown option next to 'Number of starters' to choose the number of players in the starting lineup.
  • Select a formation
  • Click ' Select team'
  • Select your team for the upcoming game

    Monitor confirmed attendance for the fixture

    Step-by-step guide:

    • Go to the club admin dashboard
    • Click ' Teams' from the left-hand menu
    • Select the team name from the sub-menu
    • Click ' Match Centre' on the fixture to monitor attendance for

    • Choose ' Team Selection'

    • Click a player on the green team formation to show their availability (thumb icon - green for available) and selection (round icon - green for selected).
    • In the Manager app, it is also possible to monitor confirmed attendance, here's how .

    Add the opposition's lineup

    Step-by-step guide:

    • Go to the club admin dashboard
    • Click ' Teams' from the left-hand menu
    • Click the team name from the sub-menu
    • Click ' Match Centre' on the fixture

    • Click ' Team Selection '

    • Click ' Opposition selection'
    • Enter the player names
    • Click ' Save'

    Troubleshooting

    This section covers common troubleshooting queries:

    • Statistics don't show for a substitute
      • By default substitutes do not get marked as having made an appearance in the game (they could be an unused substitute).
      • Webmasters (with full access to Teams) and Team Admins can manually mark on the Team Selection that a substitute made an appearance.
        • Step-by-step guide:
          • Go to the club admin dashboard
          • Click ' Teams' from the left-hand menu
          • Click the team name from the sub-menu
          • Click ' Match Centre' on the fixture

          • Click ' Team Selection'

          • Find the substitute added to the Team Selection
          • Click the spanner icon on the member's row
          • Click ' Add Appearance'
        • An 'A' for appearance will show on the substitutes row. 
        • Any statistics entered for the substitute will now show on the team page of the club's website (if the relevant settings are enabled).
