皆さんはどのようにして英単語を覚えていますか？私の英単語を覚える方法は、周りの人に「私には知らない英単語はない！」と豪語することです。この方法、意外と効果的ですよ！
言葉は言霊（ことだま）。それ自体に魂があります。英単語にも、幸せをもたらす英単語があります。そんな英単語を覚えて、幸せになりましょう。
２月６日の幸せをもたらす英単語は、「threshold」を取り上げてみました。
この単語は、例えば次のように使われています。
Carry me over the threshold .
アツアツの二人なのでしょうね。
こんな言葉を言われてみたい（言ってみたい）ですね。
次のような使われ方はご存知の方も多いでしょう。
She felt as though she was on the threshold of a new life.
単語の意味は、次の通りです。
the floor or ground at the bottom of a doorway, considered as the entrance to a building or room
the point just before a new situation, period of life begins
【復習】２月２日の幸せをもたらす英単語は、「consecrate」でした。
例文： He consecrate d himself to the relief of sufferers.
この例文の意味は、次の通りです：

でしたね。

According to doctors, Stepney's active twin girls dislodged her cervical tumor with their vigorous kicking, alerting doctors to a condition that might otherwise have gone undiagnosed, and saved their mother's life.
