Moenjo Daro1
Moenjodaro, locayed in the Sind province of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, flourished along the River Indus for about 600 to 700 years,from 4,000 years ago. This is indeed an irreplaceable cutural heritage of mankind, one of the most ancient cities in the world built in accordance with carefully designed urban planning. It is divided into a Citadel and Lower City, or residential area, and most of the buildings in Moenjodaro were made of fired bricks. Large and small streets run across the Lower City from north to south, with connecting streets running east to west. The drainage system was meticulously arranged with a number of wells and a water discharge system. Also, excavated artifacts show us people in Moenjodaro enjoyed a rich culturallife.
A number of earthenware articles discovered. They vary in and form and show significant influence from the preceding cultures. Most of them were produced on potters' wheels.
Accessories and seals Skillfully made accessories of the Indus Civilization were brought through the trade with neighbouring countries such as Mesopotamia
