２月は、パキスタンでは、凧のシーズンです。
ラホールLahore(パンジャブ州 Punjab province ) の町は、インドからの観光客で一杯です。
ホテルも満員です。たくさんのコンテストが開かれます。
ガラスの粉と糊を混ぜて、凧の糸につけます。
凧をけんかさせます。相手の凧の糸を切ったほうがかちです。

夜に凧を揚げています。電飾がついています。昼間も夜も凧を揚げてけんかをさせます。とてもきれいです。
Basant Festival
The City of Lahore marks the beginning of spring with the Basant Festival, an orgy of kite-flying, rooftop soirees, garden parties and equestrian events, much to the disgust of Islamic clerics. Lahorites and out-of-town enthusiasts don glamorous clothes, in the yellow and green of spring flowers blooming citywide, to bid farewell to the frosts and fogs of winter and usher in spring.
