本日12月25日はイエス・キリストの誕生日です。
彼は間違いなく最も世界史を変えてきた人物でしょう。
たった30年くらいの生涯、3年程の布教だったのですが、そこを原点にして世界の歴史の流れは大きく動いていきました。
彼がいなければ、ローマ帝国やフランク帝国の隆盛、十字軍やそれをきっかけとしたルネッサンス、地理上の発見もなかったわけで、日本も東京に首都はなかったでしょう。
歴史家の間では「もし何々がなったら」と仮定するべきでない、という意見が多いようですが、人物や事象についてその存在意義を考えることは重要だと思います。
This Dec 25 is the day Jesus Christ was given birth to the earth.
He is definitely the person who has most changed world history.
Only about 30 years he had lived, only about 3 years he had missioned, however after his passing away his activity has affected later world history so enormously.
Not he in history, there must not been the prosperities of Roma and Franc empire, Crusaders, Renaissance, discoveries of new world and so on, even in Japan capital must have been located at elsewhere except Tokyo.
Some historian might insist we should not discuss cases another story had been evolved, however I think it important we consider significances about big event or great persons.
