When I read an English book, I can sometimes read quickly, sometimes cannot. When I am tired or not in the mood for reading, I can’t concentrate on reading and understand well. The same thing happens when reading Japanese books, but I feel it more clearly when reading English books. Don’t you feel the same?
By the way, the story is so simple that I can’t give you any special comments. But it was fun to read. I haven’t seen the film but the book made me want to see it as well.
Now I finished “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”, I will start reading “Memoirs of a Geisha”
. The book is twice as thick as “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”,though. I saw the film, so it helps me understand it, I think.
A Happy New Year!!^^(遅い?) 読破できるのがスゴイですネ♪読書は好きですが日本語オンリーです(笑) 映画みてから原作よむとイメージしやすいですよね^^ I'm looking forward to reading your Memoirs of a Geisha's comment here! (Jan 5, 2006 12:00:57 PM)
