The Brothers Johnson　Light Up the Night

　今日はこの間に紹介しているアルバムの傾向とはガラっと変わって、The Brothers Johnsonの1980年に発売されたアルバムの「Light Up the Night」をご紹介します。クインシージョーンズの「愛のコリーダ」でも素晴らしいベースプレイを披露したLouis Johnsonの在籍しているバンドです。もちろんこのアルバムはクインシージョーンズのプロデュースでその関連でマイケル・ジャクソンも参加している豪華なアルバムです。ホーンセクションは、シーウィンドのお二人が参加しているし、サウンド的にご機嫌なアルバムです！

　このアルバムが発売された時はまだ大学生。教育実習をしていた頃ですが、教育実習が終わった打ち上げでディスコに行った時、ディスコではこのアルバムのオープニングの２曲のライブ映像をバックに踊った記憶が鮮明に残っています。その映像すごくかっこよかったので、どこかでみたいなと今でも思っています。話題の映像サイトにはあるのかな？調べてみます。
