A Surprise Party

Boston Pizza on 17th Ave.

It’s So’s birthday today. We throw a party for So. He is a birthday boy， buthe doesn’t know ’bout it.

From 1week before Hana and I were making a plan for the surprise party. looked for a place， ordered in advance etc.

the day before birthday， So made a promise with other guy to go golfing. spite of such a happening， Tomo said to him that dinner was on him. So changed his mind easily. then he put off the golf.

After school So and Hana， his girlfriend and Tomo went shopping on 17th Ave. meanwhile， Nori， Go and I went to Safeway to buy a cake.
Since the way to safeway and 17th Ave. were same street， we took a detour.
We carefully choose a cake. What if T-shirt he’s wearing today was his favorite... Which is the best one to crush with his face... Finally we picked up the biggest one and decorated his name with cream. It was fully covered with sugur called cream. we know it taste awfully sweet. but it didn’t matter. It was for crush， not for eat.

@5:15 We met other guys at school. we were ready... Let’s go to him!!
It took time a little bit. we gathered money， explain the plan to them and walked slowly...
We supposed to get to the restaurant by 5:40. we did @5:45.
some of us let the staff know we came.and then...

"♪Happy Birthday to u， Happy birthday to u， Happy birthday dear...Soichiro...♪"

We， all 15 people， walked into the restaurant with cake singin’ the song. He was so surprised， and that speechless.

said Happy birthday to him again and put the cake on the table in front of him.

at first we tried lighting on fireworks candles of the cake， but wind kept us from doing it. so we did with him. in a while we stared the candles.

Hana， his girlfriend， suggested him to take pic with the cake. guys gathered around him and lifted up the cake.

"Say， cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese!!"

That was a sign
we all knew that was the sign to do something.

That’s why guys were close to him.
That’s why we lifted it up.

The girl behind him took his hat off.
The Korean guy left next to him was professional of that.

They looks excited but I can see devilish smile in their face， can hear their laughing like a devil... ukekekekekekekeke.........
