Daniil Simkin年譜
1987.10.12 ロシア国ノボシビルスクにて、父 SIMKIN Domitorij 、母 Alksandrova Olga の間に生まれる。
1990 一家は西側に移住し国際的に活躍、しばらくしてドイツのWiesbadenに落ち着く。
６才の時から、父Dimitrij Simkinの傍らで、舞台に立ち始める。
10才から、母Olga Aleksandrovaの指導の元、トレーニングを始める。
12才から、世界各地のバレエコンクールやガラなどに参加。
2003年 NBAバレエ団主催第６回ゴールデン・バレエ・コースターにて、父と共に来日。

2005年 Grand Prix International Ballet Competition Helsinki 2005 and First Prize
第５回世界バレエ＆モダンダンスコンクール（名古屋）クラシック部門/男性/銀賞
2006年 the Senior Gold Medal at the USA International Ballet Competition in Jackson 2006,
ウィーン国立歌劇場（the Vienna State Opera） に、準soloistとして参加、
クラシック、ネオクラシック、またコンテンポラリーなどのカンパニーのレパートリーを踊った。
2007年12月 リトアニア国立バレエ にて、初の全幕主役「ドン・キホーテ」のバジル役を踊る。
なお、この時のパートナーは、リトアニアでプリンシパルダンサーとして活躍する 日本人の浜中未紀さん 。
2008年４月 同年秋より、 ＡＢＴにソリスト として移籍することが発表される。
2008年10月 ＡＢＴにて、ソリストとして、活動開始。
2008年12月 リトアニア国立バレエにて、「ラ・バヤデール」のソロルを踊る。
2009年７月29日 世界バレエフェスティバル（東京）にて、全幕「ドン・キホーテ」のバジルを踊る。
パートナーは、サンフランシスコバレエ団のプリンシパル・ダンサー、マリア・コチェトコワ。
2009年８月1～4日 同Ａプロ 「チャイコフスキー・パ・ド・ドゥ」（パートナー同じ）

☆レパートリー
His repertoire with the Company includes a featured role in Company B, Lankendem in Le Corsaire, the Flames of Paris pas de deux, the peasant pas de deux in Giselle, the Son in Prodigal Son, Benvolio in Romeo and Juliet, the pas de trois in Swan Lake, Gurn in La Sylphide, Eros and a Goat in Sylvia and a leading role in Allegro Brillante.

In 2006, Simkin joined the Vienna State Opera as a demi-soloist. His roles with the company included the peasant pas de deux in Elena Tchernichova's Giselle, the Nutcracker-Prince in Vasily Vainonen's The Nutcracker, Benvolio in John Cranko's Romeo and Juliet and the Beggar Chief in Kenneth MacMillan's Manon, among others. In 2007, he danced his first principal role, Basilio in Don Quixote, as a guest with the Lithuanian National Opera.
Simkin's awards include First Prize at International Ballet Competitions in St. Pölten, Austria (2000); Vienna, Austria (2001); Perm, Russia (2004); and Varna, Bulgaria (2004), where he also won the Gold Medal. He won the Grand Prix at the International Ballet Competition in Vienna in 2004 and in Helsinki in 2005. In 2006, he won the Senior Gold Medal at the USA International Ballet Competition in Jackson, Mississippi.
