Rake is also the one who believes in power of music.
Besides, he lives in and he is based in Sendai where he was born in , while he holds live performances and takes part in open-air events at various places.
His masterpiece " Hyakumankaino I love you " (million-times "I love you") was released two days before the 3.11 earthquake.
" Hyakumankaino ... " (million-times "...")
After going through the earthquake disaster and hardship, this experience was made into the title tune of this album " Subarashiki sekai " (wonderful world) .
But as he watched people unite as one and go through hardship, he grew his resolution to live in Sendai and work the life and soul of his home town.
I think the song that expresses his love for his home district the best is " Town Beat ".
