-Where are you from? I’m from this area, Muikamachi. I also worked in Tokyo for several years and studied in France for one year.
-What made you interested in this campaign? The campaign goals, not only charity, but also justice and voices, appealed my interests. I used to work for an NPO, called Japan-U.S. Community Education and Exchange (JUCEE) in Tokyo. My ex-boss was involved in starting this campaign in Japan.
-Have you experienced in other volunteer activities? I’ve been teaching Japanese for more than 10 years. I also help an international NGO for language trainings.
-What contributions can you make for the campaign? I’d contribute my 3-4 hours a day for this campaign, mainly at the Café. I’d make an opportunity for everyone to talk about the poverty, its causes and solutions. I can clean the café and serve coffee and tea. I’d also update blogs!
-How do you think about Hottokenai Café? The café is the best place for the above, I believe. We can connect interested people here and introduce fairtrade.
