摺漆桐箱
摺漆桐箱 The box made from Suriurusi-paulownia太刀を納める箱を注文されて作った物です。
桐の箱を作ったことはないのですが、見よう見まねで作りました。
時間のかかった作品で、摺漆を30数回かけた物です。
This box is a thing for saving a Japanese sword.
The material of this box is a paulownia.
I have not made the box using this material.
However, a craftsman's work was imitated and made.
Making this work took time very much.
It is because the work called suriurusi is repeated 30 times or more.
