In general I am making progress with OS Yosemite on this Mac, but there are still a very large number of things which are a mystery. One of the things I can't get used to is the resolution of the monitor. Although I have had this monitor for quite some time, up until now I haven't been able to set it to such a high resolution as it is set to now. Consequently everything seems rather small and far away.

It’s a warm and windy day today. I am just about to go to the dentist. Oh dear.
