Paul Klee


パウル･クレー Paul Klee (1879-1940)

スイス･ベルン生まれ。ミュンヘンの美術学校で学び、グラフィック･アーティストとして1920年頃より評判に。
ワイマール、デッサウのバウハウス、デュッセルドルフ美術学校で教え1933年スイス･ベルンへ帰国。
102点の作品がナチスに没収され、1937年の「堕落美術展」には、そのうち17点が展示された。
第二次大戦後、クレーの評価は不動のものに。肺結核にて享年61歳で他界。
2005年6月、パウル･クレーミュージアム THE ZENTRUM PAUL KLEE がベルンにＯＰＥＮ！！
